About GLWP
In order to play water polo at a high level of competition, the athlete and her/his family need to make a time and financial commitment to the sport that is the same as the commitment needed to participate in swimming, hockey or any other varsity sport.
Great Lakes Water Polo Club is one of the first programs in Michigan to offer athletes the chance to get "serious" about polo. We offer a year round schedule, quality coaching and a chance to compete and display your skills on a national level. With numerous players currently playing Varsity Water Polo in college and many more athletes headed to Collegiate Varsity programs next year, our approach to polo has been successful.
GLWP is run on a volunteer basis, with an exceptional paid coaching staff. Contact information for current board members, administrators, and coaches is listed in the Contact section of this site.
