Matt Anderson, Head Coach

Matt Anderson Matt has served as Head Coach for GLWP since December, 2002. Matt has been the Head Coach of the University of Michigan's Women's Varsity Water Polo Team since October, 2002. Prior to coaching at Michigan, Matt served as an assistant coach at Indiana and San Jose State. Matt has also served as an assistant coach on the 16u National Team and has been head coach of the National Youth "B" team. A well-respected member of the water polo community, Matt is currently serving as treasurer of the Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Association and is the Vice-Chair of the Women's International Olympic Committee.

Katie Card, Head Assistant Coach

Katie is the new Assistant Coach for the University of Michigan's Women's Varsity Water Polo team. She grew up in southern California and played water polo for Cal-Berkeley. Katie has coached both boys and girls' water polo for various age levels. Katie will supervise the Age Group instruction.

Assistant Coaches

Brian Semple: Head Coach Dexter HS Boys, Volunteer Assistant U of Michigan Women’s Water Polo.

Rebecca Godek: Head Coach Dexter HS Girls. Rebecca also coaches U of M's women's club water polo team.

Brad Silverman: Head Coach Saline HS Boys and Girls teams.

Brendon Whelan: Recently graduated from University of Redlands where he was Team Captain and won multiple Div 3 national Championships.

Tony Anderson: Local businessman and current JV Coach at Pioneer Highschool. Tony was a State Champion Swimmer and Water polo player in HS at Pioneer. In addition he was a four year letter winner and two year captain of the Indiana University swim team while attending Indiana and swimming for Doc Councilman.
